Mount Batur Camping

 Mount Batur Camping is an overnight to enjoy the spectacular sunset and sunrise at peak of Mount Batur. Get more experience and make an unforgettable experience by exploring the untouched natural beauty in the area of Kintamani. One of the most interesting destination here is Mount Batur. It’s in the middle of the most beautiful caldera in the world, it’s located in the district of Kintamani, Bangli Regency, Bali. Is the only active volcano in Bali island with the height 1717 meters above sea level. At the top of this volcano and above that altitude we will build a tent for overnight.

One of our team will pick you up at your hotel where you stay. Pick up time is around 01:30 pm – 02:30 pm, depending on where you stay. At 03.00 we will at the starting point of Mount Batur Trekking and get ready for the trek which accompanied by our professional guide and porter. Your guide will assist and accompany you during the ascent.

Arrival at the campsite, the guide will prepare all the camp equipments, we will sleep all night on the peak of Mount Batur and all your dinner/evening meals will be prepared by your guide, including the bonfire. The next morning we will wake up early to watch the fantastic sunrise.

The landscape is going to be amazing because the color combination of sky, mountains, lake and the Indian ocean which we can see from our campsite. While you are enjoying the view, you will be accompanied by your breakfast and a cup of hot coffee or tea. It’s will be great time because the air here is very cool. After enjoying the sunrise, it’s time we set up all the equipments to discent by surrounding the main crater of mount batur.

On the descent we will welcomed by a group of friendly monkeys. They are the most friendly monkeys in Bali. Reached the finishing point, the trip will continue to visit the natural hot spring at Toya Bungkah village. Here you can soak and relieve your sore after a hike and enjoy the natural hot spring from Batur volcano.

After that, we visit the coffee plantation and see the process of making the luwak coffee, It’s coffee made from the beans of coffee barries which have been eaten by luwak ( the asian palm civets).
